Meet the Team
Dr Amilia Alifrangis
BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH MSc
General Practitioner
Dr Amilia Alifrangis is an experienced GP with postgraduate qualifications in Womens' Health, and a Masters degree in Sport medicine and exercise health.

She is also a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at Kent and Medway Medical school, and a GP appraiser.
​
Since qualifying as a GP in at University College London in 2011, Dr Alifrangis has worked in NHS practices, urgent care centres in London and the home counties. Alongside this, she also worked as a private GP and health-screener at Bupa health Clinics for seven years.
Through these roles, Dr Alifrangis has gained considerable experience of caring for patients from all backgrounds, and offers a whole person, preventative care approach in her health screens and consultation. Advice and treatment are tailored to the person's needs, and follow up support can be provided to help achieve specific health goals.​ This can be in the form of advice, or structured health coaching and lifestyle 'prescription'.

Dr Kieran Sharrock
BSc (Hons) MBBS, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP
General Practitioner
Dr Sharrock has wide experience of general practice having worked as GP since 2001. He completed his medical training in London and GP training in Chelsea and Lincolnshire. He gained his diplomas in contraception and women's health during his GP training.

Dr Sharrock worked and ran two practices in Lincolnshire for thirteen years before becoming an employed GP for the last eleven years. Kieran has recently moved to Margate to be closer to family and closer to the sea.
​
Dr Sharrock has had a varied career alongside his GP practice, including working as a forensic medical examiner supporting patients in police custody suites, in prisons, and immigration centres. In this role he developed an interest in serious mental illness and substance misuse treatment.
​
In his role as Lifeboat Medical Advisor to Skegness and Mablethorpe RNLI stations, Dr Sharrock supported the crews and had training in lifesaving at sea, and since moving to Margate has joined the team at Margate RNLI station.
​
At the London Olympics Dr Sharrock volunteered as a crowd doctor for the Olympic stadium. He also has an interest in sports injuries developed due to having sustained injuries running marathons and riding his bike.
​
Dr Sharrock also uses techniques in his consultations which he learned gaining a Diploma in Medical Hypnosis. This focuses on positive reinforcement to help people gain and maintain healthy lifestyles.
​
During twelve years in medical politics Kieran was Medical Director of Lincolnshire LMC and deputy-chair of the BMAs GP Committee. In this role Kieran supported NHS GP practices to be sustainable so they could provide excellent care.
​
Kieran is also an educator, training GPs and other health practitioners at both undergraduate and post graduate level.
​
Kieran's focuses in medicine are holistic care, prevention, and non-medical intervention.
