Yes
The doctor will provide you with a private referral that can be used to organise an appointment with the relevant specialist or liaise with your private medical insurance company for authorisation. Please note that we are unable influence any NHS waiting list or refer into the NHS system at present.
Blood tests
Blood tests may be recommended after a discussion with the doctor, and this is best done through a GP appointment. These will be discussed with you and you will be informed of any additional charges incurred in addition to the cost of the GP appointment. Results are usually available within one to two weeks. The doctor may recommend a referral to a Paediatrician prior to carrying out any blood tests for children, so that a full assessment can be carried out.
Other tests such as urine tests, stool tests, swabs and smear tests are also available at the clinic.
Investigations
If deemed clinically necessary, the doctor will provide you with a referral for a private scan, which can either arranged via your private medical insurance, or on a self-pay basis to be carried out locally.
